I would not buy a Michael Kors unless it was marked down to under $50 because they fall apart. You pay for the name, not the quality. Now, the perfume is another issue and is one of my top 2 favorites.

I'm not ultraexcited about this particular bag, I think there are other styles that, while still simple/basic, would be a bit more stylish.

gettinpurseonal...are they badly made? i've seen them in stores and put my stuff in them, etc., and they seem to be made of quality leather and feel great...what has been your experience with them?!?! now i'm having doubts!

Its too plain for my taste. IMO Micheal Kors bag are decent quality and will survive a few beatings. But they are nowhere near the quality of Coach/Cole Haan, which will survive pretty much anything.

MK is not known for its quality and durability. If you want a tote to use everyday I suggest you look elsewhere. That being said, I think its too plain even as a regular looking bag. I think you can do much better than that for the price you are willing to pay for this one
