Hello ladies! Don't you just hate it when you're searching and searching for a particular bag and you either never find it, or it takes a while to pop up? But, when you're not on the hunt, you find any and everything you want? Crazy how that works... Anyway, for the past month or so I've been on the hunt for the Michael Kors Hamilton Saffiano Leather Large tote in the Aqua color. And when I say hunt, I mean I came very close to buying this bag from an online store based in Europe....I wanted it that bad. To my surprise, I saw my must have bag available for purchase on Macy's website today.......but the color listed says turquoise...hmmm...

Someone please help me understand the difference between the two colors, with regard to the Hamilton. Is one brighter/darker than the other? Or are the terms simply interchangeable; meaning they're one in the same? The first Macy's picture of the bag makes it look like a pretty bluegreen, but the third and final picture looks teal....yeah, teal...another color I guess the bag could be.

hello i was in the same boat as you and loved the darker color which is exactly like last seasons aqua. I saw the light blue and was not sold until I saw it in person at Dillards and its the SAME as the aqua color I ordered it today from Macys!!!!

thanks and congrats to you too!!!! And I was quite amazed as to how fast it was sold out I was hoping to get the matching wallet as well but it seems like thats sold out to!!

I LOVE that turquoise bag on Macy's website! I would have purchased it had I not purchased the same bag in tangerine last month. I ended up getting the Hamilton wallet in turquoise instead!

And FYI, Macy's has them all back in stock today!

i did get the tangerine!!! and was saving it for summer/spring and then returned it to get the turq. lol

Guess what? I found my girl on eBay! Of course I did my checking to make sure it was a reputable seller. And it was. She would even allow for returns up to 14 days if not satisfied. And the price was great! $269!! Needless to say I snatched her up.

leasul2003 - I saw that one!! Please take a picture of it in true light when you get it, and post if you don't mind. :-) I'm curious as to the color difference between the Aqua and the Turquoise. My husband made me wait until this morning to open my new Turquoise Hamilton. It is GORGEOUS!!

^^ Will definitely take some pics. Glad to know I'm not the only that has a hubby who likes to dish out cruel and unusual punishment. I got another Hamilton at the end of last month during the F&F sale at Macy's. Since I told the hubby that was my Christmas present, he also wouldn't let me use it until today. I suppose since this new one is my birthday present (I'm a Jan baby), he will make me wait again. :(
