Has anyone bought a bag in the new colour "Merlot"? Would love to see pics, preferably without flash. Thank you in advance!

Actually Merlot is just a new name for a wine color / burgundy. I have a couple of burgundy bags that you could call Merlot. Here is one of them. It is an older HUDSON bag and they just called it burgundy back then, lol! ( last pic) I also have a burgundy Hamilton I never wear because I decided I don't like the gold hardware on it. This will be a fun thread for me as burgundy is my FAVORITE color! I will really enjoy seeing some pics of burgundy / Merlot bags here! I will also show a pic of the Merlot Riley that just came out this season. ( first pic)Has anyone bought a bag in the new colour "Merlot"? Would love to see pics, preferably without flash. This is anl older MK Woodside tote which is a deep burgundy, could also be called merlot since it is a wine color.
I recently discovered this was a special bag, one of a kind. It has this tag inside, so I doubt you'll find one in this color anyhow. They do have them available in black, brown and luggage once in awhile but are very hard to find anymore. I believe this one in burgundy, now called 'Merlot' was the only one ever made, as I have never seen another in this color, or with this kind of tag on it, and yes, it is authentic. .I love love love this! I'm going to try to find one, although I would prefer black.
Oh wow! They make them without the python now?? I am so getting this! My birthday is this month. Showing this to the hubby! lol! Thanks! Here's a pic of my Large Merlot Riley. It is with flash and was taken with my camera phone, but might give you an idea of color.

Thank you! Yes, I believe this was a runway bag at one time made for a special show or model. That is so cool!
LOL about time, eh? Happy birthday to you...
No, the color of handbags generally, or I have never seen, it transfer onto clothing? Usually it's the other way around, the clothing color transfers onto the bag. Being this Merlot is so dark, any color transfer from clothing, likely will not show. Those that have a merlot color bag, have you noticed any color transfer at all onto light clothing? Just curious, thanks!
Yeah that usually is the case with color transfer... like dark denim onto a white bag... but was just curious since I don't own this merlot color didn't know if it would bleed if the bag was wet or anything like that. No, the color of handbags generally, or I have never seen, it transfer onto clothing?
