From what I’ve read they have a very relaxed incarceration. They are allowed to see each other now (after being moved to the same facility) because they don’t cause any trouble.

They also wrote letters to family members asking them to “recall” when they told them “years ago” about the abuse and to bring it up if asked to testify. Not to mention Lyle’s recorded conversations about how they were going to get out of prison because Leslie (their lawyer) had helped them come up with such a great defense. Ofc I’m paraphrasing.. but I’d read quite a bit about this before the Ryan Murphy Netflix spin. They are being treated better than they deserve in the slammer (IMO)
