I'm looking at the sale items on the website, and feel tempted by a few things; however, what pulls me back is the final sale specification. For these items, I tried on these items in the store or checked out similar pieces, just to know what I'm getting. However, I want to ask if anyone here buys KS if it's not returnable? Did you have generally positive experiences?

I just bought the Highland Maria yesterday in the final sale, but only because I have seen the exact one in person and know that I will like it. Otherwise, personally I am not comfortable purchasing without the option to return. Several years ago I made a KS spade purchase in a Surprise Sale with the bag being non-returnable...I didn't like it and ended up selling it. I just don't want to go through that hassle unnecessarily!

Thank you for your reply! Same here...I'm also a bit concerned in the condition of the items being potentially variable; like, if it's defective or could be better, and then I have to go to the trouble of contacting customer service about it. Are they generally pretty good about sending only intact/pristine stock?

I've previously purchased a handbag that was final sale. It was wrapped perfectly and didn't have any defects. The bag itself was gorgeous but didn't work for my lifestyle so it became a huge case of buyer's remorse. I eventually sold it but I've told myself that I won't buy anything else final sale unless I'm 100% sure that I'll love it.

I think if you received a bag that was damaged or defective, they'd make an exception to the final sale. At least I'd hope so.

I've ordered a couple of sale items in the past, that have been final sale. They've always come wrapped well and had no defects. Only one has been buyers remorse (for the color). I would agree with DivaNC...that they would make an exception if it was defective.

I caved and ordered the Luxe Ella today; I hope I love her since she's mine now, lol. I have ordered final sale items several times but I usually know what I'm ordering from seeing them in the store. This time I'm winging it, but I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed.

Let us know if you buy anything!

I bought my grove court maise in a surprise sale a couple years ago. The bag was packaged perfectly, no defects, no issues. 2 years later, I still love and use it regularly! But, like others have mentioned, I'd seen it in the store ahead of time, so I knew what I was getting.

Since it is final sale, don't buy it unless you're 100% sure that you'll love it!

Thank you everyone! I'm glad to know that we can expect pristine items to be sent for final sale. The prices are good, I just feel uncertain about not being at home for a while to check the packages. I am on a long vacation, and it would be bad if I didn't realize there was any issues with the purchase until quite a while later. Then it would be hard to convince CS that it's not just buyer's remorse, or that didn't actually use anything. So many cute things though! I'll keep mulling over it...

I have ordered several final sale items without any problems. They are always brand new, fully wrapped, and not defective. I had the same concerns initially, but I believe that if there is really a quality problem with the bag, KS may work with you.

Hi there! Like the other posters above, I haven't had any problems with my online KS orders at all. Everything has always been in pristine condition and very well wrapped! Good luck with your decision!

Oh that one is pretty! I was eyeing the one in Cognac...such a pretty color! I hope you love it!

That's the one I got...cognac. It looks so pretty with those "open zipper" sides. I hope the short strap will fit on my shoulder.

I got this one too. I hope we love it!! I bet the bag will slouch a bit once you remove the stuffing and put your things in. So I bet it will fit over the shoulder. I can't wait to get it!!
I also ordered the Maise shoulder bag in sweetheart pink. Such a pretty color!! I couldn't resist the prices with the extra percentage off sale items.
