Does anyone know anything about this designer's jewelry? If you have any of her jewelry, can you post a photo wearing it, I would  to know what your opinions are about her jewelry? TIA

Here's her website...her jewelry looks very classy & delicate to me...it's very pretty :tender:

http://www.mjmmetal.com/ (you can also find her jewelry on shopbob.com)

I am really interested in her hoop style earrings & she has a very pretty ring that includes a set of 8 separate rings that are a mixture of different golds...so pretty I am !! However before I take the plunge in purchasing anything I would like to know if anyone has any feedback :confused1:

I LOVE the hoop earrings, I have extra extra large sterling round hoops, extra large rose gold pear hoops, and green gold large elliptical hoop earrings. I'm still tempted to get the sterling or gold soup can hoops but I feel like my extra extra large ones are really big enough........

Oh definitely shop around, with the price of gold changing so much lately there are still stores out there selling older stock for pre-increase prices. I got my two gold pairs between twistonline.com and an online store called the clay pot I think.... you can google it. I found some of the prices to be cheaper than current suggested retail.

Oh weee:yahoo: Thanks Lola for giving me some feedback about this jewelry!! I really, really want a xl or xxl hoop style earring in the 14k gold...maybe the Oval or Triangle shape!! I can't decide & I want to see the jewelry IRL before making any decisions, so I may run some errands today to some boutiques to see if I can check these out since I live in So. Cali.

Are the earrings really, really thin :confused1: Also, do you have any mod photos wearing your earrings?

the metal is really thin and in a good way and soooooo comfortable. The first pair I got were the rose gold xl pear shapes, then I needed a silver color and figured I'd just go for the sterling in the xxl, then the green gold caught my eye! I still want one more pair but I'm getting so much use out of these that I really don't need another. I love the oval xxl and the soup cans in yellow gold even though I'm sooooo not a yellow gold person. There's just something about these that look great in gold. Good luck! I can't post any pics right now but I can try later if you still need some reference, just let me know.

Excellent...post your photos when you can. I am going to a jewelry store in Beverly Hills now to make a purchase on some hoop earrings...I hope I like them  I really appreciate your feedback Lola you're the BEST!!! :yahoo:

if you like her jewelry, you should check out carolina bucci.

Cool...Thanks Randr21 :supacool: I checked out the website for Carolina Bucci but I am afraid I like Melissa's jewelry more...it's so pretty & simple. I do appreciate you presenting me with a designer that I was unfamiliar with. If you have any more...please share.

Well I did it...I purchased my first jewelry piece from Melissa Joy Manning...some 14k gold square hoops! I  it...hope you ladies will like it too & be inspired to check out her jewelry...

Oh...Thanks Sheishollywood!! The jewelry by this designer is truly beautiful  My hoop earrings are so light...it feels like I have nothing on, which I absolutely love...soft & pretty, yet it still makes a BIG statement!

If you live in the West LA area or any where in LA...you can check out the store Persimmon or you can check them out online too at http://www.shoppersimmon.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=5

This store sells alot of Melissa's pieces & the customer service was good..I met with Julie (I think this was her name). If there's anything not in the store, she can order it as well for you. Also, the prices are LOWER at Persimmon instead of purchasing directly from Melissa's website...not sure why :confused1:

I hope you check it out to see the jewelry IRL...if so, let me know what you think:yes:

Thanks for the action pic! I am looking to get the smaller square hoops, so this is helpful!

Excellent Couturequeen...I am sure you will  them very much! I have a lot of hair & a long face, so I generally gravitate to larger earrings...small ones don't do anything for me...kwim.

Please post a photo when you get yours...are you ordering online or going to a store?
