Medium Lily leather decision

Hi all,
I’m trying to decide on a medium Lily and it’s between the maple silky calf and the small grain oak. Which of the two holds up better? I really prefer the NVT which is available on the Amberley, but I don’t think the strap is long enough for cross body wear.

I don’t have personal experience of either of those two leathers, but as a general rule the texture of grained leather would be less prone to showing marks/scratching than a smooth leather like the silky calf.

Thanks, that’s what I was thinking. I’ve found one in the NVT and now need to decide between that and the small grain

The Maple colour is absolutely stunning but scratches would show easily, obviously depends on your lifestyle whether you can deal with that or need something a bit more hard wearing. NVT is a good all rounder - looks great & fairly accident proof.

Nvt every time any marks will rub out with any good leather moisturiser. I have Nvt bags that are nearly 20 years old I won’t buy the other leathers they are nothing like the same quality thin split hide
