Medium crossbody with easy access?

I’m trying to help my mom with her next bag purchase. She’s looking for a medium size crossbody, everyday leather bag. She is NOT careful with her bags and needs something durable with easy access (no turn lock closure- either a flap or a magnetic closure).

I’m looking for some help identifying other options for her. To give you an idea of her preferences, this is what she has explored and liked/disliked so far:

• Lady Dior medium: this is probably her favorite of the bags she has explored so far, but she didn’t like the grained version and I fear the lamb is too delicate for her to wear daily (she is one to shove things under airplane seats, into her larger carry-on, etc)
• Chanel jumbo: loves the style but can’t deal with the turn lock closure
• Chanel 19: she thought it was too trendy
• Louis Vuitton Capucines medium size (PM? Can’t remember what it’s called these days): she likes the style but it might be too heavy to carry all day
• YSL lou lou: She did not like the style and felt it was too puffy, but liked the magnetic closure

Any other ideas?

Thank you for the suggestion! You reminded me of one criteria that I forgot to mention- she would like the bag to be formal/polished enough to carry to work, so I think that rules out the Evelyne (and probably the Chanel 19 she had briefly considered).

I have this is several colors. It's easy to use and a bit more tailored than the PM Evelyne. It's offered in a smaller size, as well. I love the leather used for the Longchamp Le Foulonné line. It feels like a slimmed down version of Clemence, but still plush.

If the YSL Loulou is too puffy then could look at the Sunset or Niki from YSL? I’ve actually used my medium Niki way more than I thought I would just due to usability! You can wear these on the shoulder or crossbody, and Niki comes in quite crinkled leather which helps with the squishing it into small places etc.

Have you considered Loewe? Perhaps a Loewe Puzzle in small or medium size, depending on how much she wants to carry. Durable, fuss-free, good quality, easy to use.

I have the LOEWE Flamenco in the mini size and in the normal size (Flamenco clutch). I love this bag so much because of the wonderful smooth leather and the opening with only a magnetic clasp. The bag is lightweight and the closure is safe.

And I agree "thundercloud": also the LOEWE Puzzle bag in the small size is very pracitcal and nice. I have it too.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! She explored some of the options but felt they were too informal (Niki, puzzle, le foulonne) or delicate (flamenco). She hasn’t yet explored the Polene options. We will continue searching! I think she is likely to go with something like the Capucines because the flap is super easy and it’s versatile to wear top handle or shoulder/crossbody.
