MC Speedy or Damier Speedy?

Both are classic bags. I'd get mono first.

They are both so cute to me. I know I will end up getting both eventually, allong with an Azur too , but for now, I'm just getting one.

The Daimer seems more practical because you can carry it all the time.


If light rain gets on the daimer, is it still fine??

The vachetta kinda scares me.

I love Damier Ebene, but for a Speedy I prefer the Monogram.

If you think you will only have one speedy, get the mono. If you succumb to speedy fever, you will probably get the damier eventually.

I love the Damier! (I have the 30) The mono is nice, but both are classic patterns on a iconic bag! You can't go wrong.

*What I have noticed, is that there are often variations on the Mono: Mirage, Perforated, Graffiti, etc...you might decide, like I did, that you prefer your mono to have a little something 'extra'!

Damier Speedy = no vachetta, less to worry about! Either way, you can't go wrong, they are both great, classic pieces!

I also thought you meant multicolore from the title. I like damier best and it was actually the first LV pattern (learned that from aprior purse).Love the lack of vachetta. It is my rainy day purse.

I'd go with the Mono first, as it's such a classic!

FYI: Most of LV PF'ers refer to MC as Multicolore Canvas.

I pick Mono, I have one and love it. It's classy, versatile and timeless.
