I don't own either bag, but I've tried on both in the store. The Courtney was heavier, IMO, with all the studding. Both bags were empty, btw.

I find the courtney a little on the heavy side but not by far my heaviest. I wore mine up in NYC, and walked all over heck with it!!! I think the shoulder strap helps cause if it does get heavy in the hand, I threw it over my shoulder and problem solved!
