I trying to get a generally opinon, I'm about to buy another leather bag and I would like some input.

I have the in MBMJ Hobo Hiller Steel, I love the soft supple leather.
I have the MK Braided Grommet Large Satchel, soft buttery feel

I wanted to Buy a Coach Kristian Hobo, but the leather feels hard and plasticy compared to the other 2, does this effects its durablity??

What is tPF overall opinon of coach leather?

Coach and MBMJ make two entirely different leathers. Coach's leathers I believe are made of cowhide leathers which are on the stiff side. I think MBMJ is made of calfskin which is a younger, softer feel. They are both wonderful in a different way. I happen to love the Madison and Sdyney bags but haven't made the plunge yet.

You basically have to decide if you will be happy with a stiff leather bag. Stiff, compared to the MBMJ! Happy shopping! ;)

This is a very difficult question, as each company uses so many different types of leathers! I think you will just have to compare the specific styles you are considering, rather than the brands in general. I have gotten Coach bags with super smooshy pebbled leather, thick, chewy vintage leather, and everything in between. Likewise I have loved some MBMJ leathers and really disliked others.

To get you started, this is from the Coach website on the Kristin leather: Juno leather, fine-grain gently tumbled cowhide
