Hi all,

I tried to search up threads regarding this but couldn't find any info... was hoping some of you ladies could help me.

I recently got engaged, and my fiance got me a 1.30 Tiffany Setting G colour. I am in the early stages of searching for a wedding band, most likely a diamond eternity of some sort but what is the general rule to matching them, as in the diamond colour? If I own an I colour stone, can I still get a diamond wedding band that is F or G colour or will it be a huge difference in colour?

Thanks in advance!

You really have to post your engagement ring before we can give out any practical advises. As for your second question, I own a H color stone with a diamond eternity wedding band that consists of G and H color stone and I cannot tell the differences.

It depends on how large the stones are, how many there are, and how they're set on the wedding band. The larger they are the more you'll notice the colour difference.

There shouldn't be any real difference side by side. I've had center stones that ranged from D to J and bands with stones D-H and side by side they've never been an issue, even with DE stones next to the J. If it bothers you, wear a thin spacer so there's a visual break of metal. I do that anyway to keep the "donut" of my Tiffany style setting from getting eaten by my wedding band.
