Several months ago, when I bought my Dark Denim Rogue, I posted pictures of the small, gold, heart-shaped padlock and key that I purchased for it - and now I have bought a rectangular, black nickel padlock for my new Oxblood Prairie Rivets Rogue 12164 BP L6N.
Frankly, I've never seen much sense in putting a lock on a purse, because my bags are more valuable than the stuff inside! But it just annoys me to carry an empty keyhood on my Rogue without a key or anything to lock!
I didn't want to add weight to an already heavy bag, but I found a good vendor on Etsy (RowansOriginals) that sells light-weight, inexpensive, good-quality, decorative, working padlocks; see the links below for the 2 padlocks I've purchased from her so far.
The total weight of the nickel padlock and key was 27 grams, so less than an ounce and not a burden to carry. It came with 2 keys and it only cost $11 total including shipping.
I will leave this padlock attached to one of the zipper pulls just like the gold one - and will probably never unlock/lock it again - but it just makes me happy to feel that my new bag is now complete!
