Marmont Mini V/S Small Padlock

Hi,
I tried the Gucci super Mini Marmont, it kind of just fits a phone and probably some cards, like a wallet on chain.
The second one I tried is the Mini Padlock, looked slightly bigger and roomier.
Anyone used the Super mini marmont? How sturdy is the bag? The chain looks so thin I’m slightly worried of breakage.
please help me choose one.

I don't have experience with the pad lock, but I do have the super mini. Thought it would be a cute little running around bag...well, it's certainly little! I can barely fit my phone, keys and wallet. The chain isn't thin at all, it's quite substantial and completely removable. Which is a feature I like, I pretty much use my mini as an evening clutch or catch all in a larger bag.
