Im so torn between black leather vs. black suede for marmont small. Actually between mini and small as well. Lol. For those of you have purchased suede and leather, can you please share your pros and cons for them? And what size you use the most?
I’ll probably wear it as a cross body bag, so I want something that’ll hold the shape longer and functional.

If you want longevity and function, I'd get the Marmont small in smooth leather. The mini is really limited on space, and somewhat trendy in size. Suede isn't going to be as long-wearing as regular leather, and harder to maintain. There's not much you can do to fix suede, but you can possibly refurbish/revive leather down the road.

Suede will rub when worn cross body and get bald spots on it over time. I have the black smooth leather and love it. It still looks new even after a year of use

I think it depends on your height, too. I’m 5’4” and wanted to wear my marmont flap 90% of the time as a xbody. I went with the mini in leather.

I tried on the small, thinking I’d like it more, but that’s when I realized I love the mini.
