March 2019 So Many Exclusions

Just a little bummed right now because it feels like everything I wanted to order is excluded in the latest PCE. I am shopping mostly men's bags so I don't know how much others can relate.

It seems like anything with an ounce of signature is excluded, not just seasonal designs and 1941. I generally prefer leather, but most of their Coach New York pebble leather men's bags are only available in black and gray right now, which isn't my style. They used to have more blues, reds, and greens, which I would be interested in if they were available. It seems silly that they won't let me pay 70% of the MSRP now when in 3 months it'll be 50% or more off, but that's the game Coach makes us play I supposed.

I have attached thumbnails of the excluded items I was interested in just to show how much was left out of this PCE. I was for sure going to get the bag strap, a card case, and a bag. Instead I bought a card case through East Dane, which at least for me is having a better sale than Coach's PCE right now, and a couple NWT bags from resellers.

Anyone else in the same boat this PCE?

Yep. The semi-annual sale is your friend, and that should be coming by summer.

There was nothing I wanted now, but I plan on getting another Dinky sometime this year. My thought process literally went .... "Ok, so that'll be at a semi-annual sale ... the winter version does 50/20 usually right before Christmas, so dinky will be for Christmas." The logic just flowed as second-nature. But Coach (the company, not my SA's, who I love) will milk these things as long and hard as they can. As long as they can sustain an influx of new people, they're good.

And of course, if I sound cynical, it's not for the product. It's for the company. Sigh. Makes ya laugh a bit though.

Ditto...just got an email saying that new styles have been added...which I hoped meant more styles available for discount. But still not the Frame 23 I want . Oh, well, Coach’s loss because by the time it’s on sale, I’ll have found something new to drool over lol

Also, has Coach done away with the 1941 line entirely? No images are watermarked 1941 in the upper corner as they previously work, and there is no Coach 1941 section anywhere on the website. I think the differentiation was causing customer confusion, and perhaps ire. I think they did away with the customer-facing 1941 branding, but kept the 1941 design concepts and priced them higher. Anyone else notice it?

There was some kind of update a while back that there was no 1941 line. But that doesn’t mean that some items aren’t made the same way, they are just not called that.
