Hi I bought myself a pair of these

They've arrived and the length is fine but they are a little tight across the toe area...I've worn them for a couple of hours with socks and they are still tight.
Do you think they will give any if I persist or should I just send them back?
Any experience with MJ shoes?

Not sure how much the patent leather toe area will stretch out if any. Did you try HEAVY sweatsocks to stretch it out?

They will not give in. I have 2 pairs and they "break" on the width (which is my main problem) but not much on the toes. I suggest to exchange them for a bigger size if you feel uncomfortable.

Unfortunately my experience with patent in general has been that it does not stretch, so if they hurt now, they will always hurt somewhat. I once got a gorgeous pair of patent shoes which felt fine at the store but hurt like hell when worn and though I tried to stretch them out after 6 mths of hell I finally gave up and gifted them away. Probably exchange them for something else or a larger size. I do not buy patent for this reason. Very unpractical especially in the toebox area. Love the look but ...
