Marc by Marc Shoes - Worth it?

I have a few pairs of MbyMJ shoes and love them! I actually just purchased these last night:

MJ is currently having a laugh at people buying his stuff , because of the pretty appalling quality - I like his designs but I saw some of the cardis they have out for S/S 07 and it was like 1000 euro for so simple stuff -.. the shoes are also overpriced IMO.
why don't you check out yoox, they might have a better deal than 395 on mby mj shoes.

i don't think you can compare the two choices though bec michael kors is a different style. i love mj mainline shoes but not crazy about m by mj - I would prefer Kors.

I definitely love the vintage-girl feel of his styles. But I'd rather pay vintage prices, heh. Maybe during a Bloomie's promo...

i prefer m by mj over kors for sure but definitely buy on sale with bloomies coupons or whatever.

I only have two pairs of MBMJ shoes, but I love both of them. The black bow flats and patent leather slingbacks both have held up really well. I bought the first at retail, but the second pair were over half off, so that didn't hurt either. If you are patient you can usually find MBMJ shoes on sale at some point.
