So I had recently purchased a ps1, but I was debating on whether or not I should have purchased a bal bag instead. I chose the ps1 in the end because I already have a bal bag...however, I'm not quite sure if I made the right decision. Which one do you recommend? This isn't just my dilemma, but in general, do you prefer to purchase several similar handbags that you adore within the same brand, or different bags in different brands?

I go for many brands, too. Coach, Kate Spade, Dooney, LV, Prada... I have so many favorite bags from many different designers that I just want them all. I don't mind sticking with one designer, but sometimes I get bored and end up finding a bag from another designer that I love. So I may end up buying the bag because I love it. I would never give a second thought.

Enjoy your beautiful PS1 angerine!

Some people on here stick to one brand and others have one of each brand they like - I have Coach, Kate Spade, LAMB and LV bags which I like for different reasons. I'd buy a Walmart bag if it was the exact size and design I wanted though.

I used to only wear Coach...I had Coach bags, wallets, wristlets, scarves, keychains, etc. ALL of it was Coach...I never even looked at another brand.
But then I got out of Coach and went to LV, and enjoyed it so much that now I am buying Kate Spade and Kors. I like trying out different designers now, there are SO many options. If one brand does not have what I am looking for, maybe another does. LOL!
In a perfect world, I would only have two bags from each brand...but that is not possible...I will always have my multiple Coach and LV's. :D

Personally, I love buying within the same brand, but finding ones with different styles. Kooba has a great selection of different bag types with a different style. My favorite on that I own is the Dasha:

It matches everything and it's just so comfortable to wear. Plus, it fits everything I carry on a daily basis.

I'm in an obsessive phase right now, loving Dooney & Bourke to death, especially their new leather bags. But if I found a bag from another brand that I loved, I would go for it.

Both! I love variety, so I have bags from different designers. But, if I really love a particular designer's collection, I have no problem purchasing multiple bags from them.

It's the bag itself that counts,

If a brand makes lots of fabulous bags that suit my personal style I will keep buying from them but I have also bought atypical bags from brands such as my Bal (that's not to say I don't own lots of other things by Balenciaga).

I don't usually buy exactly the same bag twice but I have also done that too :D.

I have a couple designers but Balenciaga suits my casual style the best and I love the great selection of colors so I mostly buy Bbags - a couple different styles - lots of different colors

I like to go with many brands, I like to be versatile and just be different and not stick to one thing. I am dying for a PS1, congrats. A Bal and a PS1 - I must say you are on track ;)
