Looking at all three of those. Some questions. First of all - does anyone have them?

"Short 8" = 8 or 8.5?
I see that almost everywhere it says to order up a half size. I generally wear an 8, but am a "short 8." Some 8's can be too long on me, although the width is generally right (or too narrow - I have wide feet!). Should I go with a 8 or 8.5?

Flats
Does the "go up half a size" thing apply to flats as well?

I wouldn't follow what they say on nm.com. With some manolos I actually ordered a half size smaller when trying them on at the store. For these I would just go true to size.
