Hi fellow shoe lovers!

I finally got my hands on my dream shoes, after lusting over them for ages; the Manolo Blahnik Lurum’s in black satin.

These are my first Blahnik’s and my first satin shoes, and so I wonder whether I should be worried about the satin slightly fraying near the heel tabs?

CS says «slight imperfections» aren’t to be considered a manufacturing error. I don’t particularly mind the look, as it’s only visible up close, but that is as long as it doesn’t worsen. So any one with any experience who can chime in before I decide to return/keep them?

I think it will only get worse over time so if possible to exchange for a new pair that is what I would do. You want them to look perfect so you can feel amazing wearing them! Lurum’s are a huge investment so they must be flawless (if purchased new!)
