Hi there,

I just got my dream Lurum in green satin but as I’ve received them I realize there are some defects…

-The transparent stitch that attaches the crystals brooch has not been fixed properly and there are visible glues on it.
-Plus, there is a longer stitch on the side of the shoe.

Got them for 50%off and they don’t have them in my size anymore so an exchange is not possible…

Any advice? Keep or go?

I barely notice these issues, even with the pic blown up, but a good cobbler may be able to remove excess glue.

But, if you really cannot stand these things, then of course you should let them go.

Tbh, I would not care (or notice) that stitch. As long as it's not popped or broken, it's fine with me.

With any visible glue, I just take it off myself.

However, if the crystals are not fixed properly, then that may be a deal breaker for me.
If it is minor, I'd just bring it to a cobbler. But if it cannot be fixed or has some defect that makes it easy to fall or break off, then no, I'll pass.

Hi there,

I just got another new Lurum in grey satin but there is a hole on the satin fabric...

Got them for 50% off and they don’t have them in my size anymore so an exchange is not possible….

What are your thoughts? I do own many MB satin shoes but none of them have holes... should I be worried that it will get worse with time? Any advice? Keep or go?

Thanks a lot for your suggestions

Nope, big no for me. I don't even know if that can be repaired to be honest.

I think, with wear, it will definitely gets worse over time. The tension on the fabric will be high, since you're putting in however many pounds of force on it every time you take a step.

I just got my manolo blahnik lurum in emerald green. I am not sure if it’s a defect or just needs more glue?🙈 Will it worsen? Should I return? Or does it look normal?😰
