I don't have to play any mind games with my fiance. I earn my own money and contribute equally towards bills, mortgages and savings, so he has no say on what i spend it on.

That's a good place to be !!! I have always been a stay-at-home mom (until recently)...so I always felt the need to justify!!!!

I guess I'm really lucky because I never had to hide anything I bought. My hubby makes much more $$$ than I do because I just work part time so I can look after our son. Big purchases more than 500$ I discuss anyway with him because I never have a clue how much money we have in the bank. he loves it when I'm happy so I'll get what I want. I feel bad sometimes because he hardly spends anything on himself that's why I didn't say a word when he wanted to buy that huge TV where I got a very good discount on it. Actually I offered the TV to him to relieve my bad conscience about buying so many bags
Just therefor he's definetely a keeper
