Manhattan PM or Montorgueil PM?

I'm about to pull my trigger on a new casual bag. I do like my vintage bags so deciding between Manhattan PM or Montorgueil PM. I am looking at getting a strap later to add the versatility of using them as a shoulder bag/crossbody bag, though most of the time I'll carry it in hand.

I love the Manhattan's Mark Jacobs styling and 'extra'-ness. I'm after urban chic over elegant or pretty. I also can't deny that the Montorgueil is a classic and has that sporty chic happening.

Any thoughts? Preferences? Can be from personal experience with these bags or not :) Thanks in advance!

I can tell you that I learned about the Manhattan when I saw a woman at a store carrying one, it definitely caught my eye! I had never seen one and went and found that it was a 'vintage' model. So it is definitely unique and special. The Montogueil is lovely but more understated. How to choose? :)

I actually bought the Montorgueil! I thought I was Team Manhattan but after watching some You Tube reviews, I noticed that the Koala locks are a little rattly and I know all too well that I don't tend to use the smaller external pockets. Not ruling her out for a purchase at a later date but the Monty has that bowling bag appeal and it'll be easier for me to get in and out of when it's on the passenger seat. Thank you!

Thank you! I think I'm learning (with age lol) to choose cleaner lines and simplicity/functionality over eye candy. Besides, I'm really into my accessories at the mo so the Monty will wear bandeaus and charms better I feel.

Thanks so much! I have a bunch of Japanese resellers on my ebay favorites list. They have this exact bag at our local department store from the vendor "What Around Comes Around" and I just think it's so fine looking-congrats again!
