Isn't it amazing? I love how weathered the watch looked and coming from a man in his "9th decade" it must have had some wonderful adventures. Especially since he was a diver!

I found the auction on eBay and read all of the comments. It was rather entertaining. At one point he was offered $80k but would not end the auction early.
