Making a strand of diamond by the yards DBTY ?

Hi all, I have 4 stones left over from my tennis bracelet. They are not large but cut/color/clarity are fantastic. I wasn’t sure what to make with them but I was starting to wonder If I should make a DBTY with several stones. The problem is I have 4. I usually wear some type of arrow necklace or pendant so if I were to make this necklace, it would layer.

Question is- would making this necklace make it a classic? What do i do about the 5th stone? Buy one more stone? Get a different center stone? Thank you.

This is a great idea! I made a DBTY style necklace out of an old pair of diamond studs and the diamond from my mom’s engagement ring and I always wear it. I personally would stick with a diamond for the fifth stone but I’m not a fan of colour stones so just my personal
preference.

I would stick with a diamond for the 5th stone and ensure it has an adjustable chain so that you could wear it longer or shorter. That would make it a versatile classic!
