My favorite CHANEL sales associate, Brendan Sheehan, just called me to let me know that CHANEL on E. 57th St. NYC will be participating in the Vogue Fashion's Night Out event.

The most exciting part? You can custom make your own CHANEL handbag!!!:yahoo:

The NYC boutique will be the only one participating.

There will be a VIP (by invite) event from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. After 6:00 pm the doors will be open to the public. There will be a cocktail party. Doors will stay open until 10 pm.

Sorry, about the multiple post but am posting as I get the information...

Make your own CHANEL handbag:

*Only medium and jumbo 2.55
*5 colors of lambskin will be available
*trim, lining, hardware, etc. to choose from
*MONOGRAMMED on the inside flap if you want
*same price as normal medium and jumbo

You HAVE to be in the store to order your own custom made handbag.

Brendan will get more information to me about the 5 colors available. He only knows that lambskin will be available, I asked about caviar and he didn't believe so but will keep updating me as information comes in.

Awesome! And it is the same price as a medium or Jumbo - no premium!?! Guess I'll have to plan a business trip to NY during the week of Sept 10th! Thanks for posting, Mon! :sneaky:

Ooops, I think Brendan mentioned something about the Madison Avenue and another store doing something small on that day too, but they will not be involved in the custom made handbags.
