I don't have the mailbox version but long champ has not changed the format of their zippy coin purse in 6 years. So my LP cuir version is the same. I see the lv in your avatar. You would fold the cash the same way as in the Louis Vuitton zippy coin purse. the mailbox is wider but shorter than the ZCP but not by much. I've never had cash caught in the teeth of the zipper if that is what you are worried about
