What happened to the Keith Haring Mailbox bags?

I saw them a few weeks ago, put one in my cart, but wanted to think about it.

In a couple of days it showed sold-out, and all signs of it were removed from the Coach website.

Did it truly sell out that fast, or was it just unreleased/delayed?

I haven't managed to find any mentions here about it.

I know one member on here ordered one. They were listed as pre-order on the website with a ship date a few weeks back. I bet they're still waiting on inventory!

I thought those specific ones were a limited release to coincide with the runway show, similar to the small run of Rogue 17s for the Fall show. Different ones will be released later with wider availability.

I haven't posted here in a very long time, but I miss this place! I've been carrying a Prada for the last year or so, but the Coach mailbox bags caught my eye. Only problem with it is I'm not sure I love the color. I wish it was more of the cranberry red, like the Archival bags w/ the kisslocks on the side, but it's more tomato red, which I'm not really a fan of. Here's pics.

I thought they were a special limited release but that was just my impression from the email I received from Coach. I thought they were cool but definitely not a good silhouette for me personally.
