I have the vintage 20. It's quite versatile as you can double it up and change around where you clasp it (if that makes sense) to change the style of necklace.I have been wondering what long necklace I’m wanting next. These are both stunning! I attracted images of the items
I have one too, but in white gold. I’ve been wanting a yellow gold necklace for a while so ive been pondering which one. I love my current 20 a lot!I have the vintage 20. I honestly agree. I very rarely see the 11 motif available and I think I would feel more special wearing it. It being more flashy doesn’t bother me, everyone where I live thinks my 20 motif is from Tory Burch anyway lolThe 11 is more special to me, and I like that it has a bit of asymmetry going on.
The 20 is probably a bit easier to wear, but I think long necklaces are hard to wear in general. So I think the wearability is only marginally better.
If I liked the 11 and 20 equally, I would go with the 11. It’s less common. It’s harder to acquire. And I think it shows up well from a distance. You can also double it, which gives an interesting effect, since there’s a center point on the necklace. I also like that the 11 has an integrated clasp.
I’m definitely gonna try it on and see. I have been wanting a yellow gold piece for a while and I love the magic necklaces, especially the 16 motif. But I haven’t tried it on so I don’t truly know yet.I usually love to play on the contrast of different motif sizes but I don't love how they did it with the 11. I know they want to play on the asymmetrical, effortless appeal but the spacing between the 11 motifs look sparse and messy. I feel like it's something that looks cool at first and then a few months in it'll just look meh. Also I have a feeling that it won't look as good when doubled because of the spacing, one of those expectation vs reality pieces. Def gotta try on the 11, 20 is more of a no brainer.
I was going to mention the 16 motif. I just bought one preloved and it is special. I cannot wear it everyday because of its length. I worn it doubled and it it more easy to take care of it then because it doesn’t bump onto the tables and desks when you approach it. So it isn’t versatile like the 20 motif I think (well I am not sure because I don’t have one yet) But it is really beautiful and more special. So I would say to take a 11 or 16 motif 😍I’m definitely gonna try it on and see. I have been wanting a yellow gold piece for a while and I love the magic necklaces, especially the 16 motif. You should definitely try on both 11 and 16 then. The 20 mop can wait, it's always readily available.I’m definitely gonna try it on and see. I was going to get a 16 preloved but the person who was speaking to me on the phone was an absolute b**ch! She did not want to go to the other room to tell me the year it purchase because it was “too far” and was rude and snappy. I think you’re very right, the 11 motif just looks special. It looks regal and reminds me of royalty!I was going to mention the 16 motif. I just bought one preloved and it is special. I cannot wear it everyday because of its length.
