Well, since this weekend when Ozmodiar posted pics about the Maggie at her Macy's I could NOT quit thinking about this bag, I called JAX this morning to get more info and found out that I could not order from them, but that there was a store in my state that is piloting the bag. What does any Coachie do in that instance?!?!?! ROADTRIP!!!!!!!!
I made it down there and fell in love with Ms. Maggie. Such a GORGEOUS bag, it is a shiny leather similar to the Madison leather, it is about the same thickness also. The inside is a lovely lilac color with a lot of compartments. There are two pockets on the outer sides of the bag, and a center zip compartment. The sides snap shut. There are a total of three multifunction compartments and then a zippered pocket also. The strap drop is perfect for me, I like at least 9 inches, which is what Coach listed it as, but I haven't measured it myself.
JAX said these are due out in July. The leather style numbers are 13897 $398, there is a grey, black and also a purple color. JAX says it is 14 x 13 x 5 and a 9 inch strap drop, I would say that is accurate. There is also a larger version of this in leather it it 13902 and is $698, I do not have the measurements for it, and I didn't see it so I can't say how big it is. The siggy version is only one size and is number 13894 it is $354. It is pretty, but I am a leather girl. There was a brown and a black siggy that I saw. I brought the grey home, but that purple was a stunner too, it is a greyish medium purple. Not plum, not reddish, not bluish, just a more neutral greyish purple that is gorgeous! If I hadn't been wanting a grey bag forever now I would have brought it home. So without further rambling.....I present Maggie
