Hi there - I don't come to the forums that often but the new coach bags really caught my eye! I'm going in a vacation in the UK in a few weeks, and I'm trying to keep my luggage to a minimum (I travel light!)...so with carry-on limitations wanted a smallish bag that I could if in my backpack on the plane but could still hold things when I got there.

Does anyone have both the daily and the swing pack for a comparison? I was thinking the daily was more versatile once I even came back from vacation to use for work and other functions so I got it in silt on sale from macys (thank you for the heads up) but I'm wondering with the cornflower swing pack also on sale, would that work better? Does it hold a lot? Does the daily look ok if I put a small bottle of water in there?

TIA everyone!!! Love all your bags!!

I have both. Daily in Cornflower and swingback in Silt, both from Macy's sale :graucho:

I have to say I love both. Swingback is a very nice size for a small crossbody and fits nicely wallet, phone, sunglasses, lipstick and keys. And big plus is that it is actually little bigger than usual small crossbody bag. Daily has totally different function for me...it fits a lot, I doubled the strap and use it as a shoulder bag. Very convenient, comfortable and beautiful bag, I wouldn't use daily as a crossbody as it seems too big and bulky...

If you'd like any pics, let me know.

I definitely recommend getting both styles versus 2 Daily's in different colors. :smile1:

Thanks Carinas! I just ordered the Madison swing in the cornflower and I'll try them both out, so I'll have the opposite color ways as you! I think for my trip I'll definitely bring the Daily and then I'll see if I should keep the swing,,,I do love the color!

I have the Madison Swingpack in Peach Rose and the Bleeker Daily in Silt, Black, and Love Red. I definitely agree with carinas that the Swingpack fits a good amount for a small crossbody, but the Daily gets way more action for me simply because I can fit more in it. I would bring the Daily on vacation over the Swingpack. But both are beautiful bags so I recommend keeping both!

Well I used to own a swingpack and frankly was not a fan. They are too small, IMO. I am, however, a HUGE fan of the Daily Bag. I like it because it is so versatile. I can wear it as a shoulder bag, crossbody, and a clutch. Plus it folds flat for storage. I plan on taking one of mine when I travel this Summer, and I can be sure it will get a lof of use.

I have the Madison swingpack and I think it fits quite a bit. I don't carry much though. A double zip Wristlet, my phone, hand cream, keys, and lipgloss. I actually bought the new bleecker striped canvas swingpack and it fits all that too. I tried on the daily, but it was way too long on me crossbody :( I'm only five feet. Does anyone wear the daily as a shoulder bag only?

Ok so I broke down and ordered the daily from Macy's in silt on sake! Does anyone know hot to knot it at end to make it a shoulder bag? Hope it works well on shoulder! ( hope I'm not hijacking this thread :(

Ahhh I hope you love it!! I always think it's better to have a bigger bag just incase you pick up something you can easily throw in your bag!!! I love my Love Red Daily....hope this pic I attached can help ya out. Psssst ya know you can attach any other strap to the bag if you wanted to ^_^ I know some other ladies added chain straps to theirs.

I have the Daily is Cornflower and Silt and the Swingpack in Rouge. The swingpack is bigger and holds more then regular swingpacks and I do love it but I would most probably go with the Daily. In the swingpack I was able to fit my small wallet, a small wristlet, phone and keys. In the Daily I am able to fit all those things plus diapers and wipes for my baby and still have plenty of room. Even with all those things inside it still slouches beautifully. I think you could put a water bottle in there and it would be fine. I guess it all depends on how much you want to carry with you. Oh and I always wear it as a shoulder bag with the strap doubled. But they are both lovely bags, which ever you choose.
