Hello folks. I'm wanting to invest in a bag as a bit of a treat me/career hard work thing and would love some advice! I am wanting -
Occasion: an everyday bag bit bigger than crossbody, but can also dress up for a nice date (but not evening bag).
Colour: While I love some of the beige/greige colours I fear that the babying of the bag will turn me off and I won't use it.
Storage: I would like it to fit a phone, a lipstick, a small wallet, keys, sunglasses, maybe a small water bottle.
I have narrowed down to LV Madeleine BB and Lockme Ever Mini (although I am open to BB). My concern with BB is that the bag looks a bit bigger and thus work bag like. I have tried on Madeleine BB in Black Empreinte and liked it although the design reminded me more of vintagey/ maybe a bit more mature in styling.

just unboxed. The leather is much less shiny than the online photos, soft and luxurious feeling. I wonder if I can take it to work (I use an LV neverful for my laptop but was after a smaller bag for grabbing lunch/coffee). Would the LV be too big and shiny?
