Macy’s Clearance Table Find

I popped into my local Macy’s. I looked at the most recent styles. They had a few markdowns, but nothing caught my eye. It then occurred to me to check the clearance tables in the back of the accessories area. Sometimes, something good ends up there. Luck must have been on my side today, because hiding among the Michael Kors bags and sparkly evening bags was this Alexa turnlock clutch. It was reticketed, so I assumed it was a return, but it’s immaculate. Bag retailed for $225. I paid $88.93 + tax.

I just realized that the Alexa is still available on Coach.com without a chain strap included for $195.

Bags twins! I just got mine on Friday. I love the vintage feel to it and the back pocket is great. I’m switching out the chain strap (that sucker is heavy) for a adjustable black strap. Enjoy your new clutch!

I have a Swagger Shoulder Bag 20 with a heavy chain strap, so that doesn't bother me too much, but at least it can be swapped out or removed entirely. I think it actually looks cute without any strap at all.
