LVs on display in store

I am completely lost on your site....I need HELP!! I have questions about an Artsy MM that I would like to have authenticated. I got the bag for my birthday May 2010. I am interested in selling the bag OR trading for a Delightful MM. DATE CODE is MI2120. Is there a service that can authenticate my bag if have the bag shipped to them? I don't understand how a bag can be authenticated through pics. Is there a tutorial on this site? I searched for an Artsy authentication but could not find one....PLEASE HELP!! :queen:

there is an authentication thread here for all LV's but not just for a specific line... here's the thread

http://forum.purseblog.com/louis-vu...-format-post-1-a-668925-596.html#post18899673

or you can pay a small fee in caroldiva.com to have it authenticated...

PS you can't post comments about selling too...

There is just a single authentication thread for any LV items here>
http://forum.purseblog.com/louis-vu...lv-read-rules-use-format-post-1-a-668925.html

Read the instructions for getting an item authenticated on the very first post of that thread. Include as many pictures as you can (ie. include pictures of the heat stamp, hardware engraving, date code etc...) and the wonderful authenticators there should be able to determine if it's authenticate through pictures.
They do not offer a mail/in person authentication service. There is an independent company called Carol Diva- http://www.caroldiva.com who also authenticates designer items (for a fee)...I have no experience w/ her service though, so can't add any specifics.

I was just at my local LV Boutique last weekend and saw an Azur Galliera GM that seemed to have been out for a long time as the leather had really darkened. I asked what do they do with it, and was told that they certainly sell it like any other bag, and that there are certain customers that prefer the darker patina. She went on to say that some customers actually buy bags and ask that they sit out in the window display for a while after that so they will darken, and that this is better than trying to get it darkened on their own! So, NO, never any discounts, not even on these bags, no destroying of these bags, and every bag will sell in time, according to my store.

This is me! Lol. I have never asked for a bag to sit in a window to tan but i have definitely sought out good condition display models.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR REPLY & LINK....I WAS RACKING MY BRAIN TRYING TO REMEMBER THEM..:woohoo:
