Yes,I was on the official LV website for US. Talked with a sales person,tried putting my oder through 4 times,I gave up w/such frustration. Never have had an issue purchasing a high - end handbag. My dream has always been about having such a luxurious LV. It literally made me feel like they cater to $$$$$ people. He told me I was better off to purchase from an LV store. NEVER gave me a reason why my $1600 order was going through. That right there frustrated me. So I ended up purchasing a huge order w/Coach which NEVER disappoints❤️ thanks for replying 😊
LV and a lot of the luxury brands do not allow online purchases by first time buyers. The way to get around this, if you are like me and do not have a boutique near, is to call and ask them to find your item in a Saks Fifth Avenue boutique. This is how I was able to get into the system. Then you will be in a the LV system to purchase items from the site in the future. It’s supposed to help cut down on fraud. I think they do it to create an air of luxury and exclusivity. When it does not.
I won’t get started on how I won’t buy LV anymore. They are the most worn out (hardware, corners) bags in my closet. Your Coach bags will likely last much longer than the one you wanted to order from LV. I’ve been told their more expensive bags hold up better. I don’t have anything from them over $2,000. But I won’t give more of my money to them when there are plenty of designers who make beautiful bags. Enjoy your new bags!!

Aww, thank you so much ,really feel better now knowing I'm not alone. It REALLY upset me when this happened. My lovely husband even threw me a 50th Birthday Party w/ an LV donation bag, raised $1600. I ❤️ my Coach bags, and have ALWAYS had extremely great service. I will however always have LV at ❤️
You are welcome. It is sweet how your husband tried to gift you a group gift! I still wouldn’t have a single bag had I let my hubs handle it. Not when I learned what a pita it is when you don’t have access to a brick & mortar boutique. I have corrected this by buying a bag every time I hit a city
Have you purchased in a store before? Have you ever purchased LV before? That maybe the issue..
If you have never purchased from LV before I thought you had to at least have an in store purchase before ordering online. maybe other members can answer?
This is the case as I have experienced. Though LV customer service was able to locate the bag I wanted from a Saks in New York. That is how I was able to get into the system without going to a brick and mortar LV boutique. This was about five years ago now. I don’t know if Saks still has LV boutiques inside their some of their stores.
I have never purchased anything from an LV store or online before, but two weeks ago I bought an “up and away” bandeau online and had no issues. It arrived in two days and was beautifully packaged too.
