What else did you decide to get after checking the collection for an hour?! 😂

I have the damier ebene slim cardholder in my cart now! The one with the little heads of Nigo & Pharrell. When I first saw the bags on the runway, I absolutely hated the little bobbing heads. But the more I look at them, the more I'm liking the print. It's so ridiculous and ostentious that it's actually good!!!

And omg... that red interior is TDF.

Yeah I agree about the interior. If someone in the IG comments section didn't highlight the interior I would have missed this beauty! Very Japanese to me 😊

Did anyone purchase from the new launch collection and what is your opinion of the product you ordered? I saw the denim Nil bag and it wasn't as big as I thought it would be. Another customer came in and tried on a jacket from this collection and his response was that the jacket wasn't what he expected. I think this customer was in shocked of quality.

Finally saw the pieces in person and… I’m really not impressed. I don’t think the canvas placement is really very nice especially with the chunky reverse mono pieces and also the damier portions turned out to be fabric with a fringe (for the bags). I would have preferred full canvas like the original Nigo collab honestly.

And the denim looks WILD to me in person. The fringes and the pieces really feel amateurish - compared to the boro puzzle bag from the Loewe Spirited Away collection this looks like a craft project.

The ones with Nigo and Pharrell on them aren’t my jam either. There’s a book bag that is kind of cute though again not a fan of the print. The internal graffiti looks better but also looks too similar to what Sprouse did all those years back.

The furry charms are somewhat cute but the clover is barely recognizable as one. They didn’t have the pair of dice but at more than 1k sgd I don’t think it’s something that is worth the price of entry…

Thank you for this information. I noticed looked like LV was giving away the bags and accessories as gifts to celebrities and influencers for that multiple print pattern reverse monogram collection. I ordered the small camera bag and I'm not taking it out of the store I can see the stiching is crooked and the Sa didn't take a picture of the back of the bag. I don't think the demand was too high for this color pattern. The Sa that's showing the picture told me a client of hers got the speedy as a gift when the client went to the Paris show. The denim 💙 if I can find outside the US I will definitely purchase the speedy 25. You saw more of the collection than what I came across. They cleaned up the blue denim in the stock photos you dont see long white hanging threads. In person this is all you see.

I think the added issue is that this pattern is really different for every piece so it’s the luck of the draw if you order any of them sight unseen exactly how nice your piece would end up. I really can’t with the denim fringes it looks like the bag will continue to fray once you start using it, and I can’t picture being able to accept a bag that literally unravels with use. Fine if it’s a few hundred dollars but at 5+k sgd this is not it for me…

I tried to go pick up my order on Thursday on drop day but my Louis Vuitton store has no A/C so they're closed (which sucks bc I wasted the drive lol)

but yeah I only ordered the dumpling, thank you for posting pictures of the bag, I'm still highly on the fence on the denim speedy 25 exactly bc of your reasoning, the fraying

especially for 4-5k man 💀

Oh my goodness that looks used already 😭
I love the nil but wasn’t sure if I wanted it enough for the price. The condition of that is shocking!!

Yes I thought the same thing. The white looks dirty. This is why I will never purchase Golden Goose sneakers that looks filthy. LOL I just feel LV did a bait and switch with this denim collection. They shaved down the fringes on the stock photos to minimize the look and when you purchased you got a different look.

The denim looks much cleaner on the website, not as “fringe” like as your picture. I love a good patchwork denim but I would definitely want to buy in person. The price is high for a piece that may come to you a little boho looking 😂.
Did you end up buying anything from the launch?
The speedy looks ok so far from what I’ve seen posted but who knows.
