I need some input before I go crazy. I was recently in Italy and purchased a LV Vanity PM for $1,800 USD. It was an impulse buy because it is such a hard to get bag. I did like it when I first saw it months ago, but I would NEVER pay the US price for it because it’s so small and not leather. Buying it has prompted me to get rid of some bags in my collection because they sit in my closet. I got the Vanity PM because I currently use my Neverfull, but I wanted a smaller bag for every day. I have a Favorite PM, but it’s not really a bag I like that much. I use it for date nights and when sight seeing on a trip. The Vanity PM would take its place. The bags in my current collection are two Neverfull’s— DA & DE, a Speedy B 25 in monogram, a Speedy 30 in DE, Favorite PM, and Vanity PM. I am thinking about selling the Favorite and Speedy B 25 that I never use or selling the Favorite, Speedy B 25, and Speedy 30, then purchasing a Speedy B 25 in DE. I could count on one hand how many times I’ve used the Speedy B due to the vachetta. The Speedy’s are a bit sentimental as my fiancé purchased them so there’s also that factor. What are y’all’s thoughts? I’m trying to limit my collection to bags that I will use and are fully functional for every day and all weather. Do you think the Vanity PM can take the place of my Favorite PM? Have any of y’all sold sentimental pieces? Thanks in advance!!!!!
