LV Pumpkin bag Sold today at a Christie’s Auction for a unreal price

Is this Crazy, or is it just me? Is the Pumpkin bag really this rare? (At least a couple of people think so).

A Pumpkin bag just sold for $151,200 USD at a Christie’s auction (Price Realized).

One sold in Dec 2023 for $44,100, which is quite a jump in price.

I truly appreciate that it's a work of art, but I would never have imagined a Louis Vuitton bag selling at this price.

I was offered and passed on that bag for that very reason. Perhaps it wasn't one of my better decisions!
