LV Pochette Metis Empreinte Noir or YSL College bag?

Hello ladies!

I wanted to create this thread to ask for your help/opinion! I want to get a bag for my birthday but can't decide between the LV or the YSL. I do not currently own any of the 2 brands so any feedback will be greatly appreciated

I'm looking for an everyday bag that I can use for basically everything - run errands, go to lunch/dinner, travel, shopping, etc. I also want more of a classic bag that I can keep for a long time (and not get tired). Which one do you recommend and why?

I also saw the YSL SDJ medium souple but the open top worries me.

What do you think? Are these good options? Thank you!!

I don't have ysl bags but I think LV is classic, has better quality and resale value.

Hi OP! I was into the college bag a few months ago. I'm a very slow purchaser so didn't pull the trigger (the logo was a little too big for my liking) and fast forward to now I feel a little fatigued by looking at photos of the bag! I think the LV has a more classic look so probably can be used for years. JMO, hope that helps!

I really couldn't choose. The LV leather is more robust but then again the Collége is so different and more delicate in style.
