There's a piece I want to get from LV and it's currently out of stock online. When I called their customer service, the rep told me that in order to place a phone order through any LV store, you must have purchased over X amount of money w/in the last 90 days...or else you can't order over the phone. Is this true?! This kind of sucks, especially for first time LV customers like myself. :pout:

I know you have to have a purchase history with them, yes. I don't imagine that there's a set amount that you must have spent, though, or that it would have to be within the last 90 days - maybe six months, or even a year.

When you say 'order' do you mean to have it sent to you by mail from the store? Or to reserve it at the store and then pick it up in person? I have ordered over the phone and then picked up in person with no previous spend at all.

I've heard that I just need to purchase in the last year so that they have my account on file and can send the item to my confirmed address. I've never heard of 30 days or a minimum. Very strange.

IN Canada, if you haven't purchased from the store or by phone in the last 12 months you cannot order by phone, you can only purchase in store, no matter how much you have bought in the past does not matter. They never said anything about a minimum amount though.
I think it is completely stupid!
