Lv Papillon Trunk - wish I could get all the colours!

I was eyeing to get an epi Twist or alma bb for my birthday this year, and I waited for the right colour/hardware to come along. However, I just haven't found love in those I saw at the boutiques in my country.

This bag, however, was love at first sight (in Instagram) when I saw LV will be launching this bag. Ordered immediately from my SA and got it delivered home. So happy to have received her just in time for my birthday.
aaa...... My eyes and my heart ❤ I can’t stop looking at beauty! I think I will wear her till I'm in my 60s!

Thank you for your kind words! When will Canada be bringing this in? So strange that some countries have it much earlier than others. I was eyeing on a grey twist that was available in the US website since early of the year, but it just never came to my country.

Thank you for your wishes! The original is also very cute and functional with its longer shoulder strap. I actually do not quite like the think strap that comes with the trunk because I find it too busy, but I appreciate the short chain strap it comes with.

Honestly I don't know. Every country is different it seems.. I really wanted the Blue Victorine wallet from the By the Pool collection but it was only available in Europe and Asia. Now the "Valentine's" heart bag collection is China exclusive.

I normally don’t buy monogram bags BUT for this papillon trunk, I do think the monogram is the most beautiful piece. That’s why the EPI are available but the monogram is always out of stock here.

Yes, I was so happy I could fit my essentials.
Collector's piece or not, I am going to rock it till I am 60s, or as long as I can walk.

I love using this beauty ever since i got her. Was wearing her yesterday too and very comfortable to wear over crossbody.
Been grabbing her for my out to go bag. But I prefer using the strap without the gold chain hanging as the chain seems to make a lot of noise when there is movement. Not sure if the rest feel the same. or maybe just me. I can use the chain on my other small bags.

Do add it to your collection. I think the thick strap trend may make it appear a lil' trendy, so the additional chain strap does help to make it look more unique, a collector's piece. For me, I will still wear it for a long time (maybe with a different strap). It is a rather clean design with classic mono print, unlike the other papillon released in the "by the pool" collection that has larger mono print. Those are cute, too, but I do not feel they will stand the test of time.

Lucky you that you got to wear her yesterday. I have yet to wear her as my country is currently in a lockdown.
I do not mind the gold chain at all, but I love how think and comfy the strap was although I wish the strap is just the brown leather. Now if only LV produces the longer interwoven chain (like the black chain strap for the canvas vanity pm) in the same brown colour of the bag.

I just got the Cannes bag on my birthday few days ago. I always wanted that bag for so long but now that i saw the Papillon trunk in instagram i am thinking to exchange it. Do you think it is a good choice? I am so confused right now.
