LV Palm Springs Mini Backpack OR Hermes Evelyne Mini (16)?

I'm deciding between the LV Palm Springs Mini Backpack OR Hermes Evelyne Mini (16)... I'm not sure! I have two LV bags in my collection (Speedy 30 and the Pochette Metis) but I don't own any Hermes.

Or maybe I should save up for a Chanel Classic Medium Flap? (I only have one Chanel bag - the GST).

Any help would be appreciated!!

I think evelyns are ugly, so either palm springs mini or save up for a Chanel.

What's the purpose of getting an Hermes? If you're interested in eventually owning a birkin or kelly, I think you're better off having a good relationship with an SA who can see you have genuine interest in the brand. I've heard buying across different categories, and not just leather goods, is considered a good way of showing interest and appreciation for the brand.

Between palm springs mini and classic flap, get the one that you will get the most use out of. If you're young, I say definitely stick to palm springs. If however you think you will kick yourself when Chanel goes through another price increase, then get Chanel (although LV is expected to have a price increase this Thurs. in US, CA, and AU).

Save up for the Chanel flap! I got my Jumbo + Mini back in 2017 and I am shocked how much prices have gone up since then!

I LOVE my Chanel medium flap but I also think the baby Evelyne (sometimes called 16, TPM, or amazone) is really adorable. Hermes has superior quality to both LV and Chanel. I’m personally not a fan of the Palm Springs so I say Chanel or Hermes but these are two completely different bags. If you want a classic beauty, get the Chanel. If you want a tiny running around bag that will be great for travel too, get the Evelyne 16.

Thank you all! I am leaning towards a Chanel.. but the price is outrageous... I'm also planning on picking up a LV toiletry 26 before the increase Thurs! Hopefully I can find one!

All three of this bags are completely different style/size bags. So perhaps, the pragmatic thing to do is decide which particular style and size you would use the most immediately after you buy it, and invest in that. Or which one would go well with your personal style and get most use for your CURRENT lifestyle. All three of your choices has good resale value, so that is a plus if you change your mind later.

Even if you go for PSM i would think you would not loose too much money if you later choose to sell that to fund a Chanel So that is a point to consider.

I really like my PSM. I have the regular size Evelyne and it definitely is a really nice bag, but more problematic with weather (wet). I also have a few Chanel's and I really like them, but not as practical. I can use my PSM for any errands, etc though Chanel would be a more dressy bag.

So all are good, just depends on what you'd use more, imo.

They are all very different bags. But if you are buying for collecting purpose. Maybe save up for the Chanel. It’s a classic, actually it’s the only bag I want from Chanel lol.

Depends on your life style. But for collection, chanel classic is a must have. Palm spring mini is a fun bag. Evelyn can wait.
