LV online returns authentication

Hi,
I just received my first online purchase. I think the bag might have been a return because it has some glazing issue and some hardware scratches. I am planning to return it ASAP. How does lv check online return items? Idk how that bag passed inspection

Not sure about their authentication process but you should bring the receipt you received with your online purchase to the store. I’ve done that when exchanging online orders and it’s been an easy process.
