Just want to share my experience at the LV location in Oak Brook, IL.
I was put on the wait list for the monogram pochette metis back in late July. Since then I was anxious waiting for my call to be told that I was next on the list and it's ready to be picked up.
Fast forward to earlier this month, after I had stopped by to pick up a collect in store order (monogram waterfront mules, which I unfortunately had to return), I asked the SA helping me if she was able to look up my place on the waiting list. At first she couldn't find my name in the system but after I told her who took down my name, she was able to find me and told me I was #3 out of 17. I got excited. I would probably receive my call in the next few weeks.
So here I am today. I texted the same SA who looked up my place on the list (since she gave me her card the last time I saw her and told me I could just text her if I ever needed anything) to ask her if theres an update. Even though shipments are probably random, I kind of expected it would be my turn very soon. The SA told me she couldn't find my reservation. I was shocked. She even confirmed the phone number I left back in July and she didn't find it. I again told her who was the SA who helped me originally and I even showed her a picture of the reservation slip! She then asked that SA if she knew of anything that happened and she has no idea what's going on. She said, "the only thing I can do for you is make another reservation for you and have to be with your CC reservation."
I can't believe it. I'm not a new customer at this location either. Has this ever happened to anyone??
