LV Montaigne BB or Givenchy Mini Antigona?!

Need help deciding which bag to purchase next: LV Montaigne BB in black empreinte leather or the Givenchy Mini Antigona in black shiny calfskin??? I love the look and functionality of the two bags but find that they are too similar to own both (especially in black).

I know both leathers are very durable and will wear well with normal daily use but can’t decide which one to choose! Which do you think would be a better choice? Any feedback or opinions on these bags would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

The LV aesthetically looks better to me but I'm not sure about functionality.

I love the antigona!! It can be edgy or classy as the leather is shiny.

If you don’t mind the opening of the LV I would choose the Montaigne bb. I like the Givenchy but I prefer the look of the Montaigne bb. I actually purchased the the Montaigne bb a few months back but returned it 2 days later as I wasn’t sure about how I felt about the open top at the time. A wallet, phone and keys do easily fit in the Zipped middle section. I do still think about this bag and may repurchase it next year. It wouldn’t be an everyday bag for me so I can learn to live with it being partially open. If you prefer zipper closure maybe go for the Antigona.

Personally love the Antigona... it feels like a true classic whereas the LV feels more as a 'play' on a classic because of the embossed pattern, if you know what i mean?
