Which of these 2 bags looks nicer and is a better investment, the LV Limited edition Fascination Lockit ( in dark green shiny patent leather with boucle logo) OR the Givenchy Antigona ( in either dark blue or maroon patent leather)?.. The sizes and prices are comparable, and even the styles are a bit similar, love both, so it’s a tough decision to make. :-). Interested to hear your opinions/votes. :-). See the pics below...

You need to just go with your preference. The colors and the patent are going to mean any of them are not going to be top sellers in the resale market so they're not going to hold most of their value. I personally think the blue patent will work for more seasons whereas the red and green look more like winter bags.

Antigona gets my vote. I think the Lock It will look dated a whole lot sooner than the Antigona ever will. I really like the look of the Antigona.
The Antigona looks more classic in comparison. You can't really go wrong with the blue or red.

You are guaranteed to lose money on both, so investment is not the right concept for your buying decision. The real value is enjoyment, paired with cost per wear: Is one of these going to work well enough for you?

The Antigona is a now-classic shape, but you're paying a premium price for it in patent leather. Antigona as a style is nice for daily wear, except I don't know that people wear patent for everyday (do they?); that LV is a specialty bag. Which type are you hankering for?

Thanks for your response. I meant “investment” for myself to use,- not planning to sell it or make money on it. :-). I’m basically trying to figure out which of these 2 bags is versatile enough to wear both during the day and to occasional dinners/got no out.
