Hi all, I have a LV Monogram key pouch that is about a year old. I keep cards, a small covered glass nail file, a couple bills and some coins in it. I don’t carry a lot in my bag, and nothing has happened to it to cause it to smell bad, but it does. I keep it next to a monogram pouchette accessories, and that doesn’t smell bad, so I’m confused as to why this is happening. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you.

Have the cash notes (bills) had a smell to them perhaps? That's the only thing I can think of... I've had my cles for over 10 years now and it's never had a smell.

I'd recommend taking everything out and airing it out for a couple of days somewhere well ventilated and see if the smell improves.

Thank you. I have it out and airing, and I just took everything out of it. I had 1 bill in there, which I smelled, and didn’t really smell anything. It’s possible that or the coins contributed to the smell, but it’s weird because I smelled it from the outside with the zipper closed. The smell, since taking it out of my bag and letting it air a bit, has lessened. Hoping it won’t come back when I put it back in my bag. Thank you again.
