LV insulted Me and won't accept that My bag was faulty!

In fact, it is depending item I suppose ? I have my first speedyB25 in DE and no problem with my love. My 4 keys is still ok, my wallets etc.

I am not a specialist of LV and his leather, but all my new brands item are perfect. Vernis looks very delicate...:shrugs: even my pm agenda in vernis amarante (second hand) looks delicate and it is ok with my character :roflmfao: but all items should be resist and perfect whatever our life or day.

Maybe I am naive but I am still in love with this brand :girlsigh:

Hello again Mary! I am happy that you love your LV items. I too am actually quite happy with My canvas items (except for a clemence wallet I bought... The same rude man refused to help. The store manager agreed to make an exchange later.) But as you see, the problem here is more than a faulty bag. It's the attitude, the insults, the way I was threatened to be thrown out of the store By security. Oh My god, I had My two kids in the store with Me that day. Can you imagine what a nightmare it was for Me?
 
That is awful!! I am so sorry you are going through this [emoji53]is there anyway to contact LV corporate directly? I would avoid that store at all cost and go right to LV. They have been wonderful for any issues I've ever had and I hope this gets resolved for you.

Hello LovemyLV. Thank you for the sympathy, I really appreciate it! A member of this forum sent Me a pm which was tremendously helpful. I will contact LV directly but I need the kids to go to sleep first :smile: I hope and pray for a resolution as well!
 
Something similar happened to me a few years back. I received a lv scarf on Christmas and i went to the store one or two days after the holiday to exchange it because it was unraveling on one end. at the store i was accused of wearing the scarf and causing the unraveling. the employee also claimed that the scarf just "felt worn." the scarf had only been tried on at home..I'm also not sure how something could "feel worn" after 2 days.

I subsequently was able to exchange the scarf at another lv store with better customer service, at least there were no accusations. but overall this incident made me feel so insulted and left a bad taste in my mouth for the company. i haven't purchased another lv product since.
 
They could at least fix for free especially as you have had the bag less than a year. I don't shop at LV but I thought CS was generally quite good from what I have seen on tPF so I am surprised by your experience. Hope it gets sorted and Good luck.
 
Ouch....It pains me to see that LV has such poor issues globally. If they keep this up, they will lose customers.

Their products are ok, but their customer service is just plain awful. The worst. I have been insulted like 50% of the time. It's not like it takes that much effort to be nice. They are so condescending whenever it comes to repairs. That's why I inspect things closely and don't buy things online. Simple things get blamed on ppl and it upsets me.

Don't stop pursuing this. Lately LV has been sending out surveys, I got 2 so far. One re their web site and 1 for a repair, so they seem be interested in what their customers have to say, so please write them/call them whatever u have to do but don't stay quiet. I know u spoke to the "head of repair" but what did the mgr say? If at all possible try another store. A lot of times these exchanges are SA dependent and sometimes one runs into jerks when dealing with LV. Good luck with this. It's must be such a trying exp- I can't see how LV would accept this as from the looks of the pic this is not from use. It's a defect.

Agree. I completed a survey and I didn't hold back anything. I deal with 2 stores and 1 store is awesome and the other is awful. I let them them know in great detail how I felt about each store and my great and not so great exp. i hope they listen and follow my advice on focusing on hiring people with better attitudes. Far more bad apples than good imo.

They do listen. I filled out 2 surveys very positive about my SA and she just thanked me, they let them know about it.

Ohhhhhh I could not imagine about your Clemence wallet too! So sad! really sad! :crybaby:

Strange and not professional attitude for sure at some LV store :nono:

And for boys at the store Yes I can imagine :whistle: Mine stay at home when I am going to LV :angel:
 
OP, I agree try the other stores in your town. Hopefully they will make this right for you. My daughters had problems with a Kate Spade bag and a MK bag within the first year. Both were exchanged. If Kate Spade and Michael Kors can give one year warranties LV should be able to as well!
