LV in Nordstrom?

Hi all! I have been thinking about purchasing a bag from the LV store in Nordstrom. I heard initially that you could get double but not triple points, but now I understand if you use a Nordstrom Note you aren't allowed to receive any points. Is that true? Thank you!

From my experience, you only get points on the balance that goes on a card. So if you're using a note, it's like using a gift card. Only the leftover amount (if any) that goes on the card, gets the double points. And I read recently that LV is capped at double points. Surprisingly Chanel and other designers are not.
